Short version...
Cletus and Bertha are failing as business owners. After I reclaimed my rightful place and both of theirs are bankrupt. So much lolz!!! I handed them a successful place, they shit on it and tried to go out on their own. They opened a bistro, failed. Then tried to buy and open a supper club, failed. It's odd how they are now bankrupt, or is it? They didn't have free access to ride on my rainbow anymore.
No matter how many weeks, months, even years you think it will take, karma is real. I am proof!

An ending.
I haven't had much of any time to write over the last year or so. This will likely be my final post and I'll edit as time goes on as I see fit for updates.
My company is currently absorbing another. The best part to this is that it is my ex-business partner's. I created that company and made the restaurant and bar successful, but was "forced" out by mental anguish. I accepted a buyout after a struggle and got the fuck out of that toxic atmosphere. I offered him multiple buyouts over the course of my time being there, but he declined as he might have known the potential but cried about having "no where else to go".
He was finally evicted and gave up legal possession to any right of claim. The board of directors called me first and I am now in the process of re-establishing my tenancy and re-opening the bar and restaurant under my legal entity, after the inevitable dissolution of his. Within 20 months of me leaving, he tanked a multi-million dollar business and managed to leave with absolutely nothing. Savvy business man there.
Everyone in the city has welcomed me back with open arms and I always hear how it's such a sigh of relief for him to be gone. He has burned every bridge imaginable, as well as his tank wife, and they are no longer welcome within the community, bar a few. He has been labeled an alcoholic and meth head from what I've heard, and without any insertion from me. I personally don't think he's either, just a mongoloid of epic proportions, and a weed smoker, but if the majority of the population think otherwise, that's fine with me.
On his wife's Facebook page, she is trying to curry favor with anyone that will give her a "boohoo, poor you". She's such a drama queen. My attorney has contacted his and told him that I will offer Cletus $25,000.00 just because I feel bad about the process of his leaving, after all, my heart is only half black at this point, though his counsel hasn't responded yet. He has until Monday to accept or I will rescind my generous offer, and then he will be leaving with only his pride. Yeah, right, what a complete fucking idiot. I want to say I'm ecstatic about all of this, however, I feel dumbfounded by everything taking place. He was handed a gold mine and turned everything into garbage in a mere 20 months. I figured he would fail eventually, just not this quick. Karma is truly a bitch.
Updates soon, in another day in the life of a line cook.

My Mentor
I recently was saddened to hear of my mentor's passing. This guy taught me everything I know. I owe all my success to him, and others indirectly, since I made them money with my knowledge that he gave me.
He was someone I always looked up to. I will miss you forever, Jeff. You were an amazing person with qualities rare within this world. My mentor, though most importantly, my friend...
